The Tumor Institute Radiation Oncology Group (TIROG) is a group of 14 radiation oncologists committed to caring for cancer patients in the greater Seattle area. Our name originates from the first cancer and radiation center in the Pacific Northwest, the Tumor Institute, originally established in downtown Seattle at Swedish Hospital in 1932. Over time we have expanded and recruited talented and compassionate physicians from around the country. As we have grown, the technology to treat cancer patients has quickly advanced. Due to our extensive partnerships with many hospitals, we have access to virtually every modality in radiation therapy amongst our 6 centers.
